Kicking off 2016 with a bunch of goodies!
Hopefully you’ve all got your heads wrapped around the latest album Voyeur!
The response has been the tops…
“this is a near perfect Ursula 1000 album and an asset to any swinging pad” -ALLMUSIC
“a breath of fresh air—crisp, chipper, catchy and suffused with a sense of humor” – CMJ
“Majestic and highly eclectic” – Big Shot Magazine
“Badass” – DJ Mag
“Super load of funk” – Discobelle
“Perfect soundtrack…gorgeous, laid back disco” – The Wild Magazine
The next single off Voyeur is the split EP for “Dancing Underground” and “Tropical Intention”.
“Dancing Underground” features electro swing master Mocean Worker and Fort Knox Recordings funkster QDUP on live bass and vocoder, channeling that classic era of French Touch filtered disco house madness with a updated feel and a hint of Chic and Zapp for good measure.
We have 2 rocking remixes courtesy of Montreal’s Fonkynson adding his future disco house flavor and one by Ursula 1000’s cosmic alter ego Quentin Quatro giving it that Kerri Chandler jack with added deep Summer vibes abound!
“Tropical Intention” keeps the poolside vibes alive in this Latin house floor filler.
Pontchartrain (Whiskey Disco, Lovedancing) kicks up the tribal ballistics in his deep tech house rework while Barcelona’s P.A.Sound pitch it down ever so slightly in their dark and dubby disco flip!
It’s out Feb.16th on Insect Queen Music at all your fave digital and streaming outlets.
