After holding on to these exclusive remixes, FK5 is releasing these tunes in a two part lead up to the 100th release on Fort Knox Recordings, the “Pressurize The Cabin Remixed” album coming out this October.
Longtime friend and collaborator Ursula 1000 was enlisted to remix Ready Go featuring Raashan Ahmad and has put together an instant classic. Those familiar with Ursula 1000 will recognize his signature indie/nu-disco sound, delivering a remix peppered with 80s inspired electro toms and funky grooves.
After dropping a bangin’ remix of See-I last year, rising talent from Victoria, BC, Palletz has reworked 24 Hours To Set It Off featuring Sleepy Wonder into a stomping breaks anthem. Crisp beats and 808 bass booms, combined with climactic trap snare rolls and reggae vocals have this track destined to rock the dancehall.
